The TCIA Tree Care Academy Chain Saw Specialist course is designed to train tree care workers in hazard recognition, accepted operating practices, and advanced cutting techniques. This workshop is explicitly built for crew members who may not have had access to formal training opportunities in the past.

Why Attend? Investing in formal training increases employee involvement with overall safety compliance and self-policing. Attendees will gain critical skills to operate safely on the job site.

Certification: Attendees earn 3.75 ISA and TCIA CTSP CEUs.
Materials: Registration includes the official manual from the TCIA Tree Care Academy.

Who Can Attend? This course is open to private tree care professionals.

ASTI Grant Note: Municipal employees are not eligible to attend an ASTI-funded workshop unless the municipality has donated the workshop location.
